There is a
big misconception with the people that computer science is all about
programming and some mad person typing for 20 hours on the keyboard and then
some magic happens and a computer program is made.
But
according to me computer science is made for solving real world problems and programming is just a tool for it. There is
a definite need of computer science people in the world.
Programming
is not about sitting hours and writing a lot of code but it is about some
people together working on an idea that can solve real world problems. It is
not like playing musical instrument or something it is a completely different
feeling.
Around 2014,
there would be around 1.4 million jobs
in computer science and only 0.4 million qualify for that job that a shortage
of nearly a million jobs.
All
companies now a day’s need quality engineers but they are not finding those
that is why the big companies like google, facebook etc are having a lots of
stuff In their company for their employees like free food, etc
As Steve Jobs rightly said:
“Everyone in this world should learn
how to program because it teaches us how to think.”
